Very disappointed in the length of time it took to have my screen fixed on my lap top. If you don't mind waiting two weeks to have your computer back while you're in school full time and working two jobs then this is the place to bring it. I spoke with an employee named Robert on the phone and he laughed at me telling me that "honestly we don't control the mail" when I asked him to be honest with me on whether or not they had ordered the screen yet. I have worked in customer service, and this is never okay. At one point I even had to take my lap top back from the shop and buy a cable to hook up my screen to the TV to finish homework. I am not recommending Geeks at all.

I wanted to love this place. I wanted to give them some money. But unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. I had a laptop needing a simple power jack repair and an unopened OEM part for it. They wanted $175 for the solder job, when I can swap a brand new motherboard for $130, no soldering required. The whole laptop can be replaced for $250. No wonder people no longer pay for repairs. I guess I'll give it a go myself; if I mess up the motherboard and have to replace it, I'll still be ahead $40. Also, next time don't talk down to your customers. It's bad for business.
