Andrew Belasco and his team are excellent, very knowledgeable and very supportive. Their guidance in college selection and essay writing was invaluable. Andrew also helped us with filling out the main college app in a way to best highlight my child. He also assisted in high school course selection, activity choice and standardized test prep. And as a result, my daughter got into her first choice, Boston College.

The team at College Transitions really has the right formula down. From the very first communication through acceptances, they were always very responsive, professional and helpful. Andrew and his team were able to narrow down a list of potential schools for our daughter and answer all of our questions. We started with CT right before senior year and they very quickly made a few course change recommendations, after learning the schools our daughter was considering. That was immensely helpful. The essay support was wonderful, especially in brainstorming and providing feedback. In a very difficult year for college acceptances, our daughter got into one of her top choice schools. CT has a formal process, and it works. It removed a lot of the stress off of us as parents, since her advisors and the tools at CT helped manage her application schedule, list of schools and deadlines. In our situation, they worked directly with our daughter during the majority of the process (which we liked), but several times we asked for parent meetings to discuss what was happening, and our College Transition advisor was always extremely responsive and happy to get on a call right away to answer our questions. It was a perfect balance for us. We plan to use them again when our son is going through the college application process.

We are so grateful we found College Transitions! My son was struggling to narrow his search to colleges and universities that would fit his criteria AND represent the best chance for acceptance. College Transitions immediately set to work helping him navigate the process. It was an absolute game-changer and removed all the anxiety that had been building up. Before I knew it, my son had his list of prospective colleges, and we started visiting campuses. It was perfect. Once he got to the application phase, College Transitions' team provided meaningful feedback on how he could improve his essay. Their system enabled him to keep track of deadlines easily. Whenever either of us had a question, it was answered quickly and with helpful guidance. At first, I was hesitant to spend money to get help, but I can't think of a better investment in my son's future. It greatly reduced the stress of the whole process, and my son is heading to his first choice college in August!
