Fulton County Board of Education

Terrible! I reached out to the board last year due to the continuous bullying my son is receiving from both the teachers and students and it was completely dismissed. The attitude of the lady who called me was very rude and took the schools side only. Infact, she called the principal first who has been at odds with me since the beginning of 6th grade, not even giving me a chance. His school is very toxic and he has an IEP that is supposed to protect him but it does little to no good . He was still suspended over 10 days for retaliating against a bully and the board did nothing , no investigation at all. He has been suffering there for 2 years and if I hadnt stepped in he was going to harm himself. The school counselor called me saying he wrote a note and gave it to her. Ironically , she quit shortly after that. I came down hard on the school and ever since then the staff has been making my sons life a living hell. Im from a different state and so far all I can see is GA is a terrible place with many mean people. The very few nice people Ive met in GA are the only reason I have hope and stay positive for our future here. 0 out of 10 recommend!!!

Fulton county schools are very ghetto in all areas including the supposedly better areas like Alpharetta. PTA/ Administration plays explicit rap music at fundraisers for small children. Its horrible that this is even happening to these schools. Totally shocked.

My son attends Fulton county of Fulton county public in East point Georgia this school is horrible they don't have Athletics for the kids to choose they're always calling you my child never had these problems in Clayton county public schools DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO EAST POINT SCHOOLS FRFR

Love T. Nolan is a very ghetto school. The teachers dont take education serious or the administration. My son was assaulted (attacked) and I was basically told that I should feel lucky my child didnt get suspended for defending himself. I spoke with the school board and the principle of the school about this situation and it was pushed under the rug. They obviously dont take bullying serious at the school or in Fulton county. This place is a joke oh the child was only suspended 1 day RUN!!!! Do not let your kid(s) attend any school in Fulton county.
