Angry Crab Shack

Poor staff. Food and drinks were disappointing. Wont be coming back and dont recommend going .

My husband and I decided to go to Angry Crab Shack because I wanted some chargrilled oysters. I want to say the waitress Carmen was a sweetheart. This food was disgusting though. I decided to order a 1/2 dozen oysters and a chicken Caesar salad. I could taste the powdered parmesan cheese in the oysters. The bread was hard and full of oil. My chicken was not fresh. It tasted like the chicken was old and re-cooked full of oil. My husband had the Fried Gator along with potato salad (Publix with a little paprika and sugar). We had a couple of tasty drinks well worth the $17. THIS FOOD IS NOT WORTH $102 ADDING AN 18% GRATUITY FEE. I am disappointed with the fake TIKTOK reviews.

They open with hope you dont mind but we charge 18% service charge on all checks After that the wait of the century to get our food order, mind that it was just a table of 3. Food quality and portions are average at best but nothing compared to the prices they charge. Bottom line avoid at all costs

When a restaurant has this many consistently bad reviews, its worth paying attention. Of course, I didnt. I had a craving, ignored all the warning signs, and now Im writing a bad review. But so much has been written about this place that Im not going to belabor the point. The food just isnt good. Their sides are bland and unappetizing, the fried foods have too much batter, terrible seasoning, and arent crispy. This leaves you with a small portions of shellfish that simply isnt enjoyable enough on its own, and cost way to much for what you get it return.

If only this restaurant could stay consistent it would be soooo much better. Our family has spent so much money here trying to support but the experience gets no better. They forget simple stuff like giving rice instead of noodles, and half a** your food still even when they re-prepare it. Gotta do better. Smh
