Seaside Lifetime Dentistry

I have been going to Seaside dentistry before it was Seaside dentistry for 15 years. Lisa has always been my hygienist. I do not like that it has become a corporation. I prefer a small dentist office like it was before getting an appointment has been impossible and if you have one, you have to keep it, otherwise itll be weeks before you can get another one. I dont like the atmosphere whoever painted the place should be ashamed of themselves. The bathroom wasnt clean and I dont like excuses about why they dont have help Ive been disappointed. We have five in our family that all went to Seaside and now we are going to Smiles with Dr. Tammy

Great staff. Lisa is the best hygienist I've ever had. Best hygienist in Georgia as far as I'm concerned.

My experiences at Seaside Lifetime Dentistry have been outstanding. Doctor Dobbs is the absolute best. His caring approach and attitude are above and beyond. Lisa, my dental hygienist took her time and made my cleaning experiences so easy and worry free! I highly recommend!

I made an appointment today, 7/13/2022, to have the dentist look at a tooth that had a filling break off! Upon going and getting a xray done and the dentist looked at the xray, he came in and said I had a small decay on the tooth in front of the broken tooth and he would just fix both teeth while I was numbed! I said that was fine with me! He then said the girls will come back with your paperwork, I don't have time to do your work today, we will have to make another appointment! When the girl came back she explained that my dental insurance would pay about 1/2 of the procedure and I would have to pay 122.50 up front before the procedure was done! I then asked if the procedure could be done, let my insurance companies pay what their part was and send me a bill! She told me, No, this is our policy and I can not make a special deal for you, the full balance will have to be paid at the time of your appointment! I then explained to her that the last time I was at this office they told me the same thing and I paid the amount that was told to me that was due, But, after my two insurance companies paid their portions, I was owed a refund of about 80.00, when I got the EOBs from my insurance companies I called and was told that it would be from 4 to 6 weeks before I would be refunded my money that HAD to be paid the day of service! Then, after questioning the bill I said, I thought my insurance paid 80% then I have to pay the remaining 20%, then the girl said let me check again and see, then she stated that she had updated the bill and was going to get the new print out! when she came back with that new print out, my portion had suddenly dropped to 55.00! So, if I hadn't questioned the bill, the same thing would have happened again! I just wonder how many people this happens to! And now, I still have to go back to get the tooth repaired somewhere, so I tentively made another appointment for another trip! I will be looking for another dentist office that will work with their patients more! It's not the money, it's the attitude! Update: I went by this office at the end of the year to get a detailed report of my wife's visits for our income tax filing! Upon receiving the statement from the receptionist, I saw we had a running balance on their books of over 150.00. I wrote the dentist's office requesting OUR money back and was sent a check several weeks later of about 1/2 the amount which was owed to us! I had to make several phone calls to the office here, then to their home office before I was sent OUR money back! After that, Seaside Lifetime Dentistry sent my wife a notice of her cleaning appointment confirming her appointment! Upon my wife's arrival to her appointment, she was called to the window, ridiculed and told that they would not see her because her husband had threatened their company! This was all done in front of other people in the office! So, when I called and wrote letters asking for OUR money back they had been running as overage on their books, that made them mad, so they took it out on my wife in front of other people! Very unprofessional, from the office manager! We have found another dentist's office here in Brunswick that is very professional and works with their customers!

I have always had the absolute best experience while in the office! From the front desk ladies and even after I go back they are welcoming and so nice to me, my husband and even my daughter! I recommend Seaside Lifetime Dentistry to everyone!
