*Pending correspondence with Lenscrafter's Corporate. Experience was November of 2023: I felt rushed when I came to browse after my eye exam to provide information to the sales lady. I understand this location is right by the Macy's exit doors so they need to be mindful of theft, but the sales lady was literally staring me down constantly. My husband and 1 year old were with me, so I am not sure if I sparked concern but for a customer that wants to make a large purchase out of pocket, it was uncomfortable. I still proceeded with purchasing 2 pairs of glasses that amounted to over $600 with their buy one get one half off promo. I never received a call when the glasses were there and ready, nor for my sunglasses lenses I ordered later too. One pair of glasses I couldn't even see out of the left eye but was told to try it out for a week to see if it cleared, it never did. I tried to return TWICE to do the "30-Day Happiness Guarantee" return but was told both times they were not able to do the return and I needed to wait for the manager to be there. I left my contact information for the manager to call me and to date, I haven't received a call. As I live over an hour away from this location, it is not easy for me to jump up and go in at a moments notice. This was also right around Thanksgiving and Christmas so I missed the return deadline even though I attempted to twice in person. It has now been less than 3 months with the one pair of glasses I could see out of and the lenses are scratched and cloudy. I am not rough on my glasses at all, in fact, I had a pair last over 2 years before. I work in an office in front of a computer all day. I did purchase the mid-grade lenses, so it's not like I bought the cheapest pairs. I am overall very disappointed in my experience with both customer service and the product itself. And for context, I did buy 2 RayBans which are not cheap either. I do not make complaints often, however, with not being allowed to return one pair BOTH times I went to the location and never received communication from the manager and now seeing my "good" pair of lenses degrading super quickly, I cannot give this a 5 star rating for this location. I am aware not all locations are the same and I am also understanding that at the time, this location had no optometrist and they had newer team members.
