    First of all the young man that made my bowl put his hands in everything and a lot of the toppings were mixed together as a result. The regular chicken was burnt and dry no seasoning or marinade. They dont make the items properly. In need of a regional manager check up

    The only reason this review deserves 1 star is because Nathan saved the day with his excellent recovery in customer service. However, this was an experience that would have resulted in me never coming back to this location again. To start off the food was served in very small portions compared to other locations I go to at least once a week. Secondly, this location is obviously struggling because we were the only customers in the restaurant, and not to mention the establishment was filthy. With all this being said, we still chose to come in and try it out until our intuition was correct. To the management, Ms. Morgan that was working on 8/29/22 at 5pm left me and my family in shock with how utterly rude she was after her up charging was questioned. She proceeded to say I dont care, its not my problem if you cant afford it then dont get it. As we walked away from the heated conversation to sit down my mother opened her box of food to find her quesadilla burned. She went back to ask for it to be remade, Morgan refused arguing it wasnt burnt, and because she was yelled at she would not be remaking it. As I asked for a manager, she stated she was left in charge, even though Morgan fled to the back of the restaurant. Thats when Nathan, who is an outstanding human being, came to our rescue. He apologized over and over. He remade it with no questions asked, and smoothed everything over concerning the mess his coworker left. Customer service and making your guest feel welcome is a major part of running a business in the food industry. The environment of this location. I dont see it lasting much longer. I hope you can find some people who are actually happy to help theyre customers, and understand how to run a manager absent location.

    Highly disappointing! This is a long review, but I think the context is important here and I really would love to see a change. I have been a loyal Barberitos customer since I first went to one in 2009 when I moved to a location that had one. This only increased when it turned out that my young child LOVES Barberitos- literal favorite place to eat. As a result, I have planned trip routes on vacations to include a stop at Barberitos to make sure my child gets a special treat and will eat well. The Hamilton Mill Barberitos has never been a stellar location- in fact, I had to apologize to a 4-year-old that we weren't driving further out to go to his favorite location this time- but today was the worst. There wasn't enough cheese left to make one quesadilla, so, instead of getting more, the employee making the food stretched it onto the two LARGE quesadillas we ordered. They have always been stingy with meat portions here, but, spread out, there was just enough meat to cover half of the quesadilla. Even with the vegetables, I ended up with entire bites across the quesadilla that was just cheese, or even just tortilla. I got to the salsa and found that the container was empty except for what was essentially tomato juice dregs that I was able to spoon up off the bottom. Three employees couldn't manage to ensure this didn't run out? Also, when I tried to get drinks, I found half of those in the soda fountain had no syrup. The employees seem nice enough, here, but also always seem disinterested and bored. Idk if the problem is them, management, or what, but this has been true across multiple visits. Barberitos is one of my favorite places to go eat at overall, and rises far above its competition when done right. The experience at this location has been lackluster, to say the least. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is that the food, despite the relatively tiny portions and not being quite as tasty as other locations, was still at least good and tasted fairly fresh. Please do something to revamp this place! This location should be busy and turn a nice profit, but neither the employees nor the (few) customers I see seem to be enthused and enjoying anything about this place.
