Melanie Prehodka and Aiden Glahn, her paralegal were absolutely amazing. I hired them after a horrible experience with another attorney to help with my divorce. Melanie and Aiden were both incredibly responsive, anytime I needed an update on my case or had a question, no more than a business day passed before I was given an answer. Melanie is VERY highly regarded by her peers, I asked around prior to hiring her, and received raving reviews. She always kept in mind that I was paying her by the hour and didn't waste time responding to non-sense from the opposing counsel and is also very direct and straight to the point. Her advice and the information she provided me with both about mediation and a potential hearing helped me to make a very well informed decision regarding my divorce proceedings. I sat in mediation with her for over 7 hours earlier this week, and she was a bulldog. She stuck up for me and didn't let the mediator push me around, or convince me to agree to something that was not in my best interest. Most importantly I felt like I had someone in my corner with Melanie and Aiden. Divorce can feel very alienating and having both of them in my corner was extremely comforting. Melanie was able to settle my case in mediation, I truly didn't think that was possible, I was almost certain there would be a hearing. So grateful that I am able to move on with my life sooner than anticipated thanks to Melanie & Aiden. Lastly when you hire Melanie you have a whole team behind you. I was kept up to date by multiple employees at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor ensuring that the case was being handled to my satisfaction and that I was aware of when my next bill was coming.
