Today was not a great day. I made a mistake and locked my grandson in my vechicle. My grandson is 3 years old and artistic. I called my roadside assistance and they said it would be over an hour, so I had no choice, but to call 911. When the police and fire department arrived, they were not prepared to open a car. The fire department was talking about breaking my windows in order to get my grandson out. Now while I wanted my grandson out of the vehicle. I felt it was no need to damage my vehicle in order to meet our goals. I expressed my concerns and they agree to call another team to see if they had the equipment to open my car. The second team arrive with whom I believe was senior fire fighter and he was extremely rude. He expressed how annoyed he was and how all he wanted to do was break the window. Now I know they are busy, but lets be professional. I tried to assist, I have 17 years in the auto industry where he would have took me 5 minutes with the equipment they had to open the doors if they would have listen. Thanks for the help. Please let the Caucasian firefighters on the second team know that he needs to show patience to all people that he assist and the bad review was for his lack of empathy for a black grandmother. Thanks
