Customer of 9 years. Just returned from trying to get store credit in exchange for shoes I was double-charged for. After explaining that I did not desire any kind of return and awaiting a manager, I explained what happened: Another customer had been inquiring about a 49-cent product(s) for a while (on the evening of 01/23). The line was so backed up that people were leaving the store. I proposed to the staff member handling my checkout at register 6 that I could postpone my return and proceed with purchasing the selected items instead. They were very nice and handled my checkout and return anyway. However, I noticed that my shoes were left on the counter when they were done. Upon bringing this to their attention, they promptly scanned and placed them in my bag. I understand that I should have marched right back in the store when I realized I was charged for two pairs and received one; however, my actions were a response to the positive and courteous manner in which I was treated. This employee had too much on the plate and willingly put themself out there and made a mistake during an extremely busy time when sales were on the line. What I did was give 24 hours before I returned for my second "return". This evening, I was eventually asked by the manager to come back tomorrow, 01/25, to speak with a manager. I hope to revise this to 5-stars and put some of the recent poor reviews about this location to rest. Stand by -
