Forsyth County Dial-A-Ride

I am so grateful for Access Forsyth! When I injured my knee, I had no idea how I was going to get to my doctor appointments. Then I remembered seeing the shuttle buses around the area. It is super easy to schedule, just a simple phone call. Terry is SO helpful and somehow always finds a way to get my appointment needs into the schedule, even with only a days notice sometimes. Of course, its better to book farther in advance as they may not be available, but so far so good! The hours they go are 8a-3p Monday through Friday, so just have to make sure I schedule my appointments with enough time to get there and back after. I also needed to give props to Terry and the drivers today. I did have one emergency dentist appointment today that ran an hour past my pickup time. I thought I was going to need to call Lyft for my ride home, but somehow Terry found a way to make it work so I didnt have to figure out how to get home after a dental procedure. The drivers take such great care of you, and the shuttles are super easy to navigate. If you cannot tolerate the 3-4 stairs to get into the shuttle, they also have the lift on all the shuttles which helps for anyone using mobility equipment. In short, fantastic office team and drivers. It is only $2 (cash only) for each ride (you need exact change). Thanks to all the team with Access Forsyth as I had no idea what I would have done to get to my appointments!

This is such a Blessing.Didnt Knw what we were going to do one morning without a ride t a Dr app.We called Dial a Ride.They got us took us t our appointment on time..And Brought us bak hm..Wow yes a Blessing who ever came up with this program.

Sounds great - unless you actually try to use the service. I've tried for 2 days to schedule a ride. No one will even pick up the phone. It won't even go to a voicemail. It just rings and rings. I'm not sure who is running this service but they should be fired.
