I called to see if they were taking new patients and the lady who answered the phone told me that they were and stated that it was based on a sliding scale for those not wanting to use insurance, okay no problem! The lady asked me over the phone how much I made a month, I told her and it seemed like she just threw out a number, that number was 120 per session. I told her fine and she then informed that a therapist Will be reaching out shortly. When the therapist called me she was very professional and friendly, I asked her if she was licensed and she informed me that she was not and that she was a student. I had no problem with her being a student, I did however have a problem with the price I would be paying to have a student as a therapist instead of someone who is licensed. She then tells me that she would inquire about it. Soon after I get a text from her stating that they do charge families who are in poverty only 50 dollars. I informed her that Im not in or on the poverty line, I simply just didnt want to pay someone who is not licensed over 100 dollars per session!

The best therapy I have every receiving my entire life I am able to express my feelings without being judge every therapy session. I feel good more and more about my confidence and also my self-esteem.

I am a current practicum student with A Love Counseling Center. I have enjoyed every minute of working with the wonderful team there. They are warm, education oriented, and focused on making sure you become your best self. I have referred other interns to ALove and am confident that they will be grateful for the experience. I look forward to continued learning and fellowship with this awesome group!!

Dr. Brown is a phenomenal supervisor. She is patient and an extremely knowledgeable professional counselor. Each time we meet I learn something new and its just been a great overall experience altogether.
