Hi Hunter it was definitely Craig Kennedy and you. The job you did at my house between Church St and Scott Blvd before the other business that you have insulted was even in business. I use to exercise with Craig Kennedy at Decatur Fitness Center and would mention the issues and he was always evasive. I was a young home then still in my twenties. Your comment about boutique is what you had back then a cute sign almost like a copy of Saw Horse. If you doubt my veracity I can post the proposal and receipts. The windows that Hammersmith supplied was it West or West Builidng Supply? You replaced the existing ones that a former owner had installed. for my sunroom. You also installed a french door where a window used to be and built a small deck. Double check your recollections. Hammersmith remodeled my sunroom with new windows and added French doors and added a deck. They rerouted my gutters which caused water damage. Their design and quality of my materials was so poor I have had to hire Renewal By Andersen to replace Hammersmith products and now I have to hire another company to repair damaged joists because of the poor craftsmanship. And Hammersmith costs more. Wish I never met them. Stay away from these folks their are better contractors out there.

We hired HammerSmith to do a kitchen and master bath renovation and are really pleased with the process and the result. They listened carefully, communicated clearly, and went out of their way to attend to details. The work is beautiful and high quality. We are grateful and definitely recommend them!

HammerSmith recently completed what was essentially a full renovation of our house, a fairly typical 1960s ranch style home in the Oak Grove/La Vista area. This was our second experience with having major work done on our home, but only our first with HammerSmith. Our first experience with another contractor was excruciating. Our second experience with HammerSmith was sublime. These days there seems to be, in general, less space available on a day to day basis within which Im able to feel much peace of mind. Tranquility is vital to me. The physical space of our home today, six months into the pandemic, is a haven where I can find it. In the midst of all the turmoil; the concerns about work, about not getting Covid, about having two school age kids at home with us, about the future, I often find myself just standing in some part of our house and taking it in. A peace comes over me; I feel exceedingly grateful, and the stress from minutes ago is gone. I dont think we could be in a better place right now physically, and we truly owe most of that to Warner (owner), Robert (project manager), and Jennifer (designer) who helped us realize the kind of home weve always wanted and, now, cant imagine wanting to leave. We shared a good deal of time with HammerSmith employees and subcontractors as the Covid-19 pandemic took hold and began spreading (all of them good people). Much of that time we were literally sequestered in our basement while the main floor was being completed. HammerSmith had finished the basement pre-Covid, and while short on enough room for four people to ever get away from one another, somehow it worked fairly well. Now, even with the four of us occupying the whole house, we often find ourselves in the same rooms together; grabbing enjoyment where we can and loving our new home. Thank you, HammerSmith! -James

Hammersmith did an amazing job with a major renovation of our house. Warner and his team took our mid 90s home and transformed it into a modern home were very proud of. We really liked their attention to improving our acts of daily living through design considerations. Our home and our lifestyle flow wonderfully now, and we draw inspiration and energy from our surroundings. Warners team turned a starter home into a forever hone. They were also transparent about costs, scheduling, and did a great job of managing expectations. Id definitely work with them again.

Andy, thank you for the kind words. I enjoyed seeing you again the other day, and getting a post-renovation tour. I am glad you are loving the open spaces and new kitchen. It is amazing how the townhouse was transformed from builder-grade to show-stopper without adding any additional space. I know you are excited to entertain after COVID. Warner
