Housing Authority of DeKalb County

I swear on everything I regret moving to Dekalb county I should have stay in Orlando fl as soon as I moved here I lost my section 8 now Im stuck out here in another state with no where to go with 3 kids and one on the way .i hate it here .my porting case working Tameka Bernard ignored every email and phone call I made to her office I wish Mrs Raquel walker was still my case worker she really was a blessing .i been on section 8 for 8 years and so soon as I get go Georgia I loose it because I couldnt find no where to stay here .unlike Georgia Florida give you resources.i had no help and I really regret porting here

i have to say the service i have received from Raquel Walker has been amazing! definitely one of the best government employees i have ever been fortunate to encounter. she communicates and get things done very efficiently. she was also very helpful and patient with assisting me during the whole process. tysm! s/n: wanted to leave a review for dekalb coordinated entry couldn't find anywhere else to but they are awesome! it was a great, very rough but great 2 years finally made it! thanks so much to everyone that has worked with my case!

I Dont know about anyone else but miss Regina the port lady does a very good job and write back as soon as she can never had to wait love her

If I can give zero stars I would. I've been here 20 years. My 1st set of kid graduated is and now in college while my last child in the nest is still in school and I have yet to come up on the list, in 20 years!!! This place is not a true Housing Authority. Your best bet is to find another way because they will never help!
