This place should be closed., the treatment of the residents is horrible, these people do not care for the residents. Letting people sit in their own stool, until they decide to come change her, it's horrible.

Do not send your loved one to this dump w/incompetent staff. My dad was only supposed to be there for respite CARE. I visited him (drove from a different state to check on him) & was appalled by the uncleanness and unattentive staff. I can write a book on the horrible "customer service". Moving on, dad's oxygen was NOT in his nose and the tube was filthy...of course I took care of it along with other caregiving responsibilities. He was fully alert and he had multiple conversations with my son and I as we visited. A few days later, my mom got a call saying he was unresponsive, the ambulance picked him up but they had no idea which hospital he was taken to. WHAT????? She had to call around to find out which hospital he was in. I flew in immediately. Dad died a few days later. He did not go to Harborview in ICU condition...no where close to it...yet he left there in ICU condition...placed on life support. A wonderful, kind man who spent his entire life helping others: served in Vietnam, licensed counselor, fed the homeless...doesn't make sense how they treated him. No one deserves this horrible lack of care. I work with seniors...a vulnerable population including memory care, assisted living, skilled rehab. So, I know Harborview dropped the ball...For those who are directly responsible, "Touch not my anointed. Do my prophet no harm." Please, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS GRAVEYARD. I am posting this to beg you to not place your loved one in their care. We cannot get our beautiful, people-loving patriarch back in the physical realm. It's a shame what people did to him. He suffered. Shame on you Harborview!

I would love to say thank you to the staff. Thank you to all that helped me along after my surgery. Some people stand out so much in my heart. Thank you nurse RHEA, DONNA, and how can I forget the wound specialist NORMA. Thank you to B.J for all his help. If you go there watch out for a nurse that loves to wear her Jordan's and look out she loves to give shots. Shaunett.and the rehab team wit Mr. Craig they are hands down the best.

I am appauled at the lack of professionalism, communication, collaboration of care, and total disregard for my clinical staff who made numerous attempts to transition a rehab patient from here back to the Assisted Living they came from. Because the family choice was not to utilize one of the three hospices they worked with, they gave no consideration to our hospice in efforts for us to proactively aid the patient and family in making a smooth transition back to the community. I asked for an order for hospice from their facility physician, we requested numerous call backs from Social Services . The calls did not happen as promised. We requested records with a signed record request by POA, until this day, we have not received anything, 3 weeks later. This patient had inconsistent therapy while there, said to be non-effective. I will be calling state auditors to make a formal report. Professionalism, Communication, and Care Collaboration are not taxing at all and require minimal effort if we truly are about care for our patients who truly need us. No wonder the ratings are as low as they are. This type business gives all nursing homes negative light and attention.
