This is a family run business. They were great. They showed up on time to do a free estimate. Estimate was fair. While walking our rental property for the estimate, Keith pointed out several other trees that were already starting to fall with roots completely out of the earth and we never noticed since they were covered in ivy. They took those trees down & ground all the stumps, cleaning up after they had completed the job. We also had them remove a tree and cut dead limbs from 3 other trees at our personal residence. I called Dekalb Tree Service at midnight because my brothers cat had gotten himself stuck 60 feet up in a tree and we couldnt get him down. By that point, the cat had been missing and presumably stuck in the tree for four days. He was running out of time. I must have called dozens of other businesses and no one would come because of the late hour.
These guys answered and they came. They climbed this very large tree at 1 am to rescue my brothers cat. I cannot say how grateful we are. The cat was thirsty and hungry, but is making a full recovery. Thank you so much!!!!

Hands down the best tree service I have ever used. Great crew of workers who were efficient, professional, and very careful. They worked close to the house and took extra effort not to do any damage to the house or plantings around it. They cleaned up afterwards to the point you would never know they were there.
