Absolute top notch service from start to finish. We had been wanting to redo our deck for some time. We looked around and were impressed with West GA Decks. They were one of the only companies to publicly post their prices online. We had several quotes and while they were not the absolute cheapest, they were by far the most comprehensive. Richard came out and gave us several ideas and options. We had an older deck with a pergola that was rotting and wanted to start over with a completely covered deck. When Jared, the owner called me and gave his suggestions I knew we were in good hands. He was extremely responsive to any question or concern I had. He was amazing at returning texts no matter the time! The entire process from start to finish took approximately 4 weeks which was exactly what I was quoted at the beginning. The workers were so hard working; they were there on time every day and almost never stopped. They had our old deck completely demolished in 1 day! They were very friendly and answered any questions my wife or I had whenever we would go outside. When it was completed, they cleaned up the entire yard and hauled everything away. Jared was very helpful with some changes we wanted to make along the way. We changed some of the electrical things on the deck, as well as wrapping the bottom to make it look better. The final cost was actually lower than the initial estimate! Everything from start to finish has been so effortless and easy. I cannot recommend them enough. I thought West Ga Decks was very professional in our dealings with each another while building our deck. The craftsmanship of our screened in porch is excellent, and the communication / service that they gave along the way was good as well. The price was fair and upfront too with no hidden costs or surprises. The team also did a good job at cleaning up the job site when finished. Would definitely recommend! Service: Porch construction

The details on the deck were not outstanding compared to some of the photos placed here. It look like they were in a rush and just screwed them in that makes it look disorganized. Comparing it to the company that did my neighbors deck Theres looks really detailed. Over all the deck is sturdy, big and from far looks nice . 06/19/2023 In your response to this review it is mentioned that my concern was more to have things done fast. I would like to mention (in case you forgot) that your company came a week later than we were scheduled for. In addition, material showed up to my house without the courtesy of letting us know that it was going to be delivered. Luckily I was home and could deal with the delivery service, otherwise they would have left it in front of my garage for a week blocking our vehicles inside. Since my reply was not allowed to be posted after your response I wanted to comment that a speedy work does not equate bad details on the work done. Consider I was paying for this work to be done.
