The counseling services at Manna Fund have been life-changing. My counselor, Ta'Neja Rodgers, has proven to be incredibly competent and empathetic. I've done counseling elsewhere that felt very random and unorganized. The systematic approach of Ta'Neja has helped me understand where I am, where I need to go, and what progress I have made. I don't feel that I ever walk into session that she is unprepared. Thank you for taking the mysticism out of counseling and helping me truly improve my mental health. Its been a blessing finding Manna, not only that but the programs that they provide is incredible. I was in the Trauma Program and I can not tell you enough how much growth Ive had. Every group in each program will teach you something. Its an emotional journey and Each and every therapist is so supportive and caring. Youll truly feel that the light to your tunnel is getting closer. One very important thing that you have to know is that what YOU give is what YOU will receive. Healing may feel hard and you can do had things ;)

The hardest thing is trying to find the words to explain how blessed I am for manna. How to wrap into words how truly amazing and talented this team is. Words can not fully capture this organization. I started treatment over a year ago with Jania, who is (in my opinion) the other side of the coin to Dr. Burnett. Just watching those two unravel my trama and help me truly heal is actually inspiring within it's self. So when trama iop started and they had me make imposible goals I laughed in their face on how absurd this was. I was setting myself for failure. Little did I know Becca and Courtney where smiling on the side lines telling me "how fun" this would be. It was not fun, it sure in heck was worth it though. When I thought I had come so far only for my insurance not to cover the cost Courtney was by my side reassuring me to apply for a scholarship. When I cried finding out I was pregnant and I thought I would have to stop treatment Becca gave me the encouragement to keep moving. After 12 weeks those impossible goals came up again. I bawled my eyes out that day. 4 goals I had written down 12 weeks prior And three of those impossible goals I was able to check off. I had come to them were my trama and cptsd was taking over my life and in return they held hope and a belief that not of if I got better but when I get better that I could make the impossible possible. I was drowning and this team didn't only throw out a life preserver they taught me how to conquer how to swim in the storm. They showed me how to heal from my trama and after decades of pain, flash backs, and panic attacks I was able to breath. I still have ways to go and now I can not wait for the fun that is ahead of me.
