Bogus review. This person has never visited our facility. Recruited by KAW to leave false information.

First of all, I never "threatened" anyone. I advised her that it was un necessary for her to have her buddies leave negative reviews when they have never done business with us. I would think that she wouldn't want bogus reviews or her page but apparently I was wrong.Ok folks, this is what happened. Ms. KW called for an estimate to have a part replaced. I gave her an estimate over the phone. Shortly thereafter, she showed up at our facility to drop off the vehicle. Not long afterwards as I was checking her vehicle into our system, I noticed that vehicle information was not accurate. The vehicle I quoted for the work was not the same model that she brought in. Whether she mistakenly gave me the wrong model or I mistakenly entered it, I do not know. What I do know is that I immediately called her before her car was even moved in our parking lot to explain to her what happened. The cost of the repair was going to be significantly more. She immediately got angry and stated to me that I needed to do for it the price on the original estimate. I was very apologetic and advised her that I could not do that. At that point that was all I could do. Furthermore, her comments about the price being triple are extremely inaccurate. Her original estimated amount was $1078. Her corrected estimate was $1642.I chose to be honest with her about what was going on BEFORE we started the work. A lesser shop would've started the job then called so the customer would be locked in or maybe call with somer bogus information to inflate the cost. We 100% do not conduct business like that. While I'm sorry that this miscommunication happened and I'm very aware that everyone's time is valuable, her and ours, it does happen sometimes. She made the choice to pickup her vehicle and didn't pay anything as no services were rendered. However, now she and some people she has recruited are leaving bogus negative reviews trying to smear our reputation. After 20 plus years our reputation speaks for itself though. Well over 1100 positive reveiws. Thanks to all who took the time to read this response. At A & H Specialist, our customers are always our 1st priority.
