This is an update from my review 4 months ago. Please be careful! The facility manager sends an email out telling people on 2.1 that on 3.1 the rates are increasing. That same day I, in writing tell the facility manager I will be moving out (because i see everywhere that you have to inform them in 30 days. He responded that I need to call because he does not deal with vacant issues. (Later I'm told he does i have it in text. Nevertheless I call and inform same day I'm leaving. I was told no problem please be gone by 2.29 and place needs to be clean etc. Fast forward to lastnight. I leave place completely cleaned and emptied. Otw out I speak with a couple moving out as well. They tell me go inside because they gave 30 day notice and now are being told they didn't. So I go inside speak with a virtual person who tells me she has no record of my notice! I then tell her I have the emails and call log etc. She says send to Robert ( facility "manager ") he basically tells me I'm sol and I didn't give notice etc. Even after sending him his own emails and telling him who i spoke to etc. So after some digging on my own what they failed to tell you that you have to call and inform them but they have to send you a document that you fill out and that makes it official. I have never rented a storage unit so maybe Im naive but why didn't not only the "facility manager" nor the person I called tell me this?! Still Robert only said there's no record of my notice and still has yet to explain the process to me. I called corp and lvm. Robert and the staff need more training in costumer service as well as not withholding information. I leave great reviews and only once had to renig on a business until now. The other couple said they will be leaving a review also regarding this issue. Other than that my original review stands. Just know they wont explain process to you for their benefit.

BUYER BEWARE! This facility runs great promos (first month free, inexpensive rates), but then a couple months later they raised our rates 82% even though the cheaper rates were still listed online. I was told those were "introductory rates" when I complained about it. To me, this feels like a bait and switch. They get you in at a low rate, you get all your stuff moved in, and then they raise the rate knowing what a pain it is to move your stuff. It is a nice facility (which is why I left a positive review at first), but now I am greatly disappointed with their business practices.

couldnt get in my unit for 2 days. On day one had to return with my belongings making it more expensive
