I honestly wish I could leave zero stars, because Im so fed up with this place. If youre looking for luxury living, this isnt it! I moved here at the end of July and my experience has been horrible. It all starts with the unprofessional property manager Lori, she doesnt have people skills at all. Each time Ive went to her with an issue, she tries to speak to me in a condescending manner; but if you dont have an issue shes smiling and waving. She also gets upset and starts raising her voice, but insist that its just her normal voice. The assistant manager Margarita, is very monotone and has a whatever attitude. My building has an issue with flooding on the bottom level when it rains, and they havent fixed the issue yet; everyone in the leasing office just blames it on the construction people. So when it rains, I cant exit from my back door, and this has been a known issue since I moved in. There are several hidden fees that they dont discuss when you sign your lease; for example, each resident has to pay a fee for common area electricity (the electricity in the amenity areas). Thats the most outrageous thing Ive ever heard, and its normally close to $50 each month; The rent is already high enough! Ive had a group of kids knocking at my door and ruining, there were kids in the fitness center misusing the equipment and the mom was sitting there watching, the pool gets crazy with residents and their guest sometimes; the list goes on, but I cant spend time typing all the issues. The apartment community as a whole, is going downhill very fast! The communication about important things like entering your apartment is horrible, but the staff make sure they send out several reminders about the events they host. Ive tried to contact someone in the Greystar corporate office several times and left voicemails, but no one ever returns my call. The Whitby is a joke and if I could leave today, I definitely would. I know this review is long, but I hope its helpful to someone deciding on leasing an apartment at The Whitby.

I gave The Whitby a 5 star because Marco and Margarita was awesome from beginning to end, from the application process to the choosing of the floor plan that suits my needs. I mustve changed my mind about a dozen times called over and over and and they were still awesome at assisting me, their communication is on point I just love the fact that they are so professional and helpful at the same time; Im happy with the decision I made with choosing The Whitby and my floor plan. I recommend The Whitby with all honesty.

It was ALL GOOD, until it wasnt :(. Moved here in June. Absolute beautiful layout. The staff was extremely nice and accomodating. Maintenance is responsive and helpful. And i understand that as new community that there are kinks and issues that arise. By August I was ready to go! The Elevator stopped working on multiple occasions with no real communication (you just have to guess the day), which made it extremely difficult to get moved in completely on the 3rd floor. Valet trash stopped coming for almost a month because of the elevator issue and certain residents decided they would leave their trash in the stairways which smelled horrible. Dog owners started getting lazy as the months go by and would leave poop on the stairs to harden for weeks with no one noticing. The doors are by a code or app and had a couple issues getting into the complex until someone had to tell me to go around through the leasing office to get in. Parking is a nightmare. Certain ones back in (when they know they cant drive) and block 2 spaces which leaves us to have to park farther than necessary. Cars at night use the open space in the lot to drag races doing circles/donuts with no regard of anyone elses car in close proximity. Management doesnt much enforce or step in to maintain the upkeep of what was once a beautiful community that is slowly diminishing by the people who have no care that they live amongst others. Condom and cigar wrappers in the stairway. But I can guarantee, rent will be rent and still due on the 1st regardless of their obligations. I just really don't enjoy it anymore and to be in a year lease and be OVER IT this soon is sad.

I have been living in this community for some time now, and I can confidently say that it has been an outstanding experience. There are several aspects of this community that stand out and make it an excellent place to call home. In addition to the exceptional staff and maintenance service, the social events held in the community are a fantastic way to connect with neighbors and enjoy our time here. The variety of events, from movie nights to cheese & wine nights, truly bring the residents together and make this community feel like a tight-knit family. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my choice to live in this community. The combination of a dedicated and friendly staff, a clean and well-maintained environment, and a vibrant social scene makes it a place I'm proud to call home. I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I've been here a month now, and wanted to wait a while to leave a fair review. Margarita is an amazing leasing agent, but everyone fail to let us know of the intermittent elevator issues. It is saddening when you see disabled people who are not able to leave their homes because the elevators are not working and they have to walk several flights of stairs. I myself pay more to stay on the a higher floor level with none working elevator. I have spoken with a regional manager and nothing. The least they could do is concession 10 to 20% off the rent. If I could rate 0 stars for the elevator issues I would. Therefore please BEWARE of leasing an apartment on the 2nd, 3rd, and or 4th floor especially if you are disabled. The elevator is NEVER working!
