Victory Martial Arts Academy

I dont usually leave reviews, but this place is that bad. This is a mom and pop owned place and no one knows any real karate at all. The main instructor is the dad I guess and he acts to nervous or scared to even look at or talk to the parents. Ive literally never heard him talk. The lady looks and acts like a drug attic. They have there son David watch the kids most of the time and he has no idea how to handle the kids. Ive seen kids throw shoes and books at him myself. What was really the worst part was the bullying, my sub told me he was being picked on at the karate program and that one of the kids had a fake knife and was scaring the kids. When I told the female owner she told me kids should be at home with the parents. Smh, this place is a testimony that anyone can start a child care business, just look at the building.

We've been with Victory for almost 3 years now. We have 4 kids enrolled, all over a period of time. Honestly, there have been times where we considered enrolling our more athletic kids elsewhere based on athletic ability....however, witnessing the value in each of our kids being able to work on their own personal goals kept us here. This is definitely a great place to work on goals based on individual foundation.....both athletic and awareness of self. Id like to mention...just for what it's worth...two of my kids are Autistic and two are ADHD. Our kids don't necessarily have many "behavior issues" (they are homeschooled so that helps) and sometimes people are shocked to know of their labels or diagnosis. Regardless....I love how this program really works for ALL as it doesn't focus on personality type. The instructors choose to get to understand their students and meet them based on their capabilities, physically, mentally AND emotionally....understanding explanations yet taking NO B.S. (excuses). They truly understand kids as people but still hold them accountable! We LOVE it for our kids.

This is a wonderful camp for your child for the summer or breaks during the year that you have no child care! I absolutely trust every staff member with my kid and he LOVES it. They learn martial arts and all kinds of fun activities through out the day! The best part is that it is affordable as well! I highly recommend!
