Went here on a Friday. Had to wait only about 15 minutes (shows you estimate when you check in online). Loved how Cherisie (my barber) constantly kept giving me tips to elevate my haircut. There was passion and effort, unlike some other places I've been. Great experience.

The person who did my hair was nice, telling me what I needed to here. The recommendations they gave has my hair looking absolutely gorgeous!

If I could give a zero star review I would. I want to start this off by saying, if you are black this is not the salon for you. So I go to Great clips for the first time ever to get my nephew a line up. Hes a 5 year old black boy, and this middle aged Asian lady is his barber. Shes asking me one or two or zero. Shes saying these numbers and I have no idea what they mean. I ask her what do the numbers mean. She ignores me like shes annoyed with me and I just got here. She explains like one is short, two is long etc. So I tell her to do one and give him a nice little design on the side. Idk what in my right mind made me think this women would be able to do this, but I just trusted her, and gave her the benefit of the doubt. Shes cutting his hair crazy in all different directions holding his head with an iron first claw. Hes complaining that its hurting she didnt stop. I yelled at her to stop she didnt stop she just ignored me, then she stoped and started cutting in another area. She said she was done and his head looked a mess, uneven hair line uneven cut all around. She asked if I liked it. I said no its uneven can you do it again. She goes again and still doesnt line him up. So I ask what about the line up. Now she trynna rush me to the counter like no we dont have that equipment we cant do it, no. She gives him a lollipop and I pay and I leave. $17 for no line up, an uneven cut, and pain. I didnt want to cause a scene with all the other clients their so I left after paying mad as hell. I took him to a black barber who did him right, thank God. But never again will I enter that store. Horrible customer service. I should have known they wouldnt be able to cut his hair cause no other client in there looked like us, the posters didnt look like us, nothing. But Im a kind person so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, BOY WAS I WRONG. If you are black this is not the hair salon for you, they made that clear real quick. I should have known.
