I have worked for years as a caregiver, a personal care assistant and DSP. Isilda and Jeff of FirstLight HomeCare completely changed my perspective on the workplace dynamics of caregiving. If you've worked in the industry, you can understand what I'm saying. Caregivers are not paid enough typically and many companies require excessive amounts of paperwork and documentation. Somehow being a caregiver becomes backseat to actually caring for your client. Drama seems to fill the "company chat" as well, in many organizations. This is not true working for isilda and Jeff. The way everything is set up, you only see other employees if you're relieving someone or at a company function. You are basically working directly from home. I was able to devote 100% of my attention on caregiving and my individual. Isilda and Jeff give incentives, bonuses and awards which make you feel super appreciated and it makes coming to work a pleasure and not a chore. I can't say enough good things about this company. If you want to work in a stress-free environment for people who make you feel appreciated for the job you do, call Jeff or Isilda. FirstLight is truly the best company I've ever worked for because Isilda and Jeff ares truly unique, genuine people.

When my mother was diagnosed with dementia, we hired First Light as her caregivers, as her physician informed us that she need 24 hour care. He also recommended hiring caregivers, as it is much too taxing on families. First Light took very good care of my Mother. She was treated with respect, dignity and humor. Im not sure how I could have coped had it not been for the ladies who cared for her. There was no one else in my family to share the responsibility and I was dubious about hiring someone until I saw how well she was cared for. I stayed with them for the first month or so to make sure that her care was what it should be. I was there daily throughout the rest of her life. They made a big impact on Mama & me. I highly recommend this company.

First Light Home Care provided excellent caregivers to stay with my Mom. Jeff, Isilda and Amy are very professional and were very prompt with scheduling questions or updates about my Moms care. First Light Home has provided better service than other firms that I have used in the past. I would recommend them highly and would use them again if needed.

First Light home health care is hands down the most caring, loving, patient and helpful home health care business there is in Atlanta. They listened to every concern and worry I had and had it covered from the get go. I don't live in Atlanta and when my mom was sick they took every worry I had away about my mom being taken care of. The nurses were amazing and we got to know all of them very well. When she was hospitalized his nurses would stay with her at the hospital too. Jeff came by and made sure everything was ok and if we needed anything else. I could call or text any one of them anytime if the day it night and they would respond to let me know how my mom was doing. One day one of the nurses was involved in a wreck and was going to be late getting to my moms house if at all. Jeff Duren, the owner, came to my mom's house and sat with her until a nurse could get there so she would not be by herself. That meant so much to my sister and I since we both lived out of town. They were available all hours and quickly got back to us if we left a message. First Light took the stress of my mom being sick and not being able to be there all the time away. We never had a worry with them and when she passed away they were there for us and checked on us in the weeks to follow. Jeff, Michelle and his nurses went above and beyond many times without being asked. My mom LOVED the nurses as well as, Jeff and Michelle. The love and compassion they showed us is priceless! I will be forever grateful to all of them.
