(I apologize in advance for the long review but I cannot help myself.) I have been a client of Sabbir since his early days of Aasdel, when he was the one visiting his client hotels, procuring inventory, taking orders, delivering them by hand at all hours of the day and night as needed in his black Suburban, and striving to meet and greatly beat his clients expectations. The more I got to know Sabbir as a person, the more I got to see that it is NOT a show; it is how he is as a human being. And he instills his humility into his business. His growing team is and has been a pleasure to work with, and they uphold the company values just as meticulously as Sabbir did, when he was a one man show. One particular incident comes to mind: it is one month after I bought my hotel and I ran out of key cards and was running low on towels. It was also the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. Around 1am. I have run out of keycards and am frantically wondering where do I get keycards from so late at night. Everyone is sleeping or busy, so I opted to sell rooms and get people into their rooms with my master card. I called Sabbir by chance, told him my situation and he told me within one hour I will be there. I asked him, dont you sleep? He said, and I will never forget I cannot sleep peacefully without meeting all of my clients needs. Once you get your keycards I will be able to sleep nicely. He was there within an hour, keycards in tow. I tried to offer him some coffee, and payment on the spot, to which he declined and to take my time on the payment. This is when I knew I had found one of the few good guys in the business world. More than seven years later, I am glad and honored to be one of Sabbirs clients.
