The Swink Agency was professional, humble, on-time, and excellent in reimagining our companys logo. Our company, ClearCompliance Group, was seeking a new look for our logo. We came across the Swink Agencys work through the co-founder, Derricko Swinks LinkedIn page, and was pleased with what we saw. We met with the Swink team for a consultation to discuss our vision. They were attentive and focused on addressing what we were looking for in a new logo design. They took the time to review our current logo and made honest assessments that we humbly admitted as reasons for a change. While they offered other services, we respectfully declined and they honored our decision with the usual high sales pitch. They provided us a series of black and white concepts for consideration in the design process. We narrowed the pool of concepts to seven choices and sent the Swink team follow up questions on some of the designs. Specifically, we wanted to know the thinking behind the designs as it is important to get inside the thought process of the designers. Derricko, who headed the design effort for Swink, set up a Zoom meeting to discuss the concepts and answer my questions. Humble and thorough, Derricko answered my questions and sought my feedback on four of the designs. Honestly, I had my sights set on the logo that was only words. However, Derrickos explanation and walk-through of concept #5 was like a Masterclass in logo design. During the meeting, I watched Derricko work on the logo with an image with precision and focus. As he worked on concept #5, he explained color schemes, fonts, size, and image in a way that sold me on the concept. Throughout the meeting, he was patience and sought my input as the concept was taking shape. Derricko stressed that a logo must following at three points: 1) convey a strong message, 2) have longevity and not trendy, and 3) be simple and not busy. For the final touch, he brought in his team member for her feedback on a two tone color (red and black) of the words and image. Based on her feedback, I agreed with the concept. Derricko went the extra mile to provide me the same logo in other color variations (two tones and solid colors) that I may use on digital media. He also provided me EPS files that I can give to printers be used for potential apparel use. Overall, the Swink Agency was excellent and professional throughout the process. Their work ethic on this project was excellent as they met the established deadline. Based on their performance with our new ClearCompliance logo, the Swink Agency will be speed dial for future logo design projects and other potential services.
