I had an excellent experience with Dr. Pau. He was courteous, patient and explained what needed to be done. The entire staff was great including the Security Desk.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pau for over two years. I would like to comment on my recent appointment in the Peachtree Corners office on February 12. I arrived at the appointment and presented my updated and revised insurance card. This clearly indicates that a tier 1 physician is a $60 co-pay. This receptionist, who is new to me, insisted that I was to pay the tier 2 co-pay. I plainly directed her to the card again in order to convince her this was a tier 1 office and I was here several times in the past. She begrudgingly charged me the $60 with the caveat that I may have to pay more once the claim is processed. I really know what Im doing here and I didnt really need this minor runaround. My appointment was to be at 10:20 AM, butI was not called back for exam until 11am. Thats a significant time waiting. In addition, my wait time was further aggravated by the fact that the office decided to turn the TV to The Bible Channel. I am certain that Eye Consultants realizes that there are patients of every possible denomination and many are not interested in such propaganda. Whoever in this office decided to switch the television to TBN should take their issues back to church. I have always found that the televisions are tuned much too loud in this office anyway. Many offices that I visit tend to use close captioning rather than the speakers and thats a practice that Eye Consultants could put in quite easily. The actual doctor is fine as usual.

Derrick Pau was very arrogant, rude, condescending and disrespectful during my visit on yesterday. Very non-chalant attitude and dismissive to any further treatments. Out of his mouth, he said I need to learn how to deal with it. Who talks to a patient in such an aggressive manner. He was not optimistic or hopeful about any treatments. He is only about being paid money and not for the care of the patients. The tone was very piss poor. Derrick was very unprofessional and uncaring and blunt. I will not return to this office under any circumstances and be sure to let future customers know about this provider. I would highly not recommend this provider to anyone. He deserves a 0 stars for his lack of care and concern.

Front desk person was aloof not engaged with me or other patients after signing in. This left a bad feeling in me for the balance of my visit. Craig
