Dr. Wang, Dr. Cho,, and the team are great! I am pain free for months now following treatment for jaw pain, facial pain, and neck pain. When I started PT with them, I had already been through 10 weeks of PT with another office that claimed to specialize in TMD treatment but with little improvement. I was taking over the counter pain meds all day, wasn't sleeping, could only eat soft foods, and had to limit talking. Dr. Wang and Dr. Cho understand how to treat TMD and unresolved pain. I had experienced neck and shoulder pain for over 10 years and had seen PTs across the country without success. I am grateful to them for their professional treatment and courteous staff. Now, I'm not taking pain meds and able to eat a variety of foods without pain. I would highly recommend them.

Unlike the average PT, Dr. Wong knows what he is doing, why he's doing it, and how to fix your pain. I'm a golfer and I hurt my shoulder hitting a golf ball. Dr. Wong fixed that. He also fixed my knee pain. Some might say that was a miracle considering the amount of pain I was in, but I'd say that it was science. Dr. Wong knows & understands the science of healing.

I started focusing on pain management due to back pain when I gave birth to my first child six years ago. Having improved my quality of life through things like core and lower body training, I regularly use cupping to relax areas that are often tight due to our modern lifestyle, such as the iliotibial band. However, no special attention has been paid to the shoulder and neck position over the years, mainly due to laziness in management. I have been experiencing neck tension for a long time but failed to pay enough attention to it. Not long ago, I suddenly developed shoulder pain. As someone new to life in the United States, I was pleased to find a Chinese-speaking physical therapist in my insurance network, Dr. Wang. He helped identify the cause of the pain, stating that it was due to weak back muscles, which affected the neck muscles, which further affected the shoulder muscles. Because the muscles are not strong enough, compensation occurs. Dr. Wang gave some suggestions, such as using door frames to stretch the pectoralis major muscles, using foam rollers to stretch the ribcage, reminding you that you can usually perform self-massage under the collarbone, using a theraband or dumbbells to exercise muscles, or even using a water bottle or bag every day. Available items build muscles. A physical therapist is similar to an auto mechanic and has numerous tools such as spinal adjustments, deep tissue massage, and more. In China, many doctors use acupuncture techniques to treat pain. In the United States, I found that dry needling is also used. Although the evidence base is different, the purpose is the same. Newcare clinics also use this technology. Efficient mechanics know when and how to use the right tools to fix vehicles faster and better. Dr. Wang is that excellent car mechanic. If you find a bad repairman, you may spend a lot of time and energy sending it for repair, but the problem remains unresolved, or new problems may arise due to inaccurate repair ideas, and the cost of repeated repairs is too high. Thank you very much Dr. Wang for your help. Six years ago, when I had my first child, I began paying attention to pain management due to back pain. I improved my quality of life through core and lower limb training. I also frequently used cupping to relax areas prone to tension caused by the modern lifestyle, such as the iliotibial band. However, over these years, I have consistently neglected to specifically focus on my shoulder and neck, primarily due to laziness. I've long felt tension in my neck but didn't pay much attention. Recently, I experienced sudden shoulder pain. As someone new to living in the United States, I was delighted to find a Mandarin-speaking physical therapist within my insurance networkDr. Wang. Dr. Wang helped identify the source of the pain, attributing it to weak back muscles affecting the neck and subsequently impacting the shoulder muscles. Insufficient muscle strength led to compensatory issues. Dr. Wang provided several recommendations, such as chest stretches using a door frame, chest expansion with a foam roller, and self-massage below the collarbone. He suggested muscle exercises with therabands or dumbbells, or even simple everyday items like water bottles or bags for muscle workouts. Physical therapists are akin to car mechanics with a toolbox full of tools, including spine manipulation, deep tissue massage, and electrical stimulation. In China, many doctors use acupuncture to treat pain. In the U.S., I discovered the use of dry needling, which, although based on different evidence, shares a common goal. Newcare clinic also employs this technique. An efficient mechanic knows when and how to use the right tools for a faster and better repair. Dr. Wang is that excellent mechanic. If you find a subpar mechanic, you may spend considerable time and effort on repairs, experiencing persistent issues or even new problems due to inaccurate repair approaches, incurring high trial and error costs. I appreciate Dr. Wang's assistance. Finding a good mechanic is crucial for effective solutions.
