I moved to Pebblebrook subdivision 3 years ago, not knowing that there would be days I couldn't wash laundry, bathe, cook, clean because of rust in the water. Guests at my house are reluctant to wash their hands or shower. My toilets look like they haven't been flushed, although they are clean. The city just offers to flush the hydrant and give me free "rust-out" detergent. I don't understand why we are expected to live without clean water. I don't understand why the city will not replace the source of contamination. Attached is a $40 shower curtain that rust from the faucet stained today. Also pictured is my CLEAN toilet. If you plan to move to Tifton, check with your realtor for options. Do not assume a basic need such as clean water will be provided to you!
