Peach Creek Puppy Playground

Since all the pet friendly hotels "dog potty" areas are by main roads. Which stresses the owners & the dogs. Putting a pet into sensory overload where no "potty" happens, I decided to try this spot. Especially since my dog is used to a fenced-in backyard to do her business. This is still off a main road. Behind a Wendy's & in front of another hotel. The gate is broken, so I let my dog roam for a bit, but she came right back to me. I figured out I needed to push the one post so the gate would latch. Thinking my dog was distracted by noisey surroundings & the extremely long grass, I put her on the leash to walk her myself. Yea, the grass has thorns all in it. Realized that when a few stuck into my feet. That's why she stayed by my side. I tried to walk her around the fence but again all the noise. We get back to our hotel & I have to dig grass thornes out of her feet. And no "potty" has happened still. Guess she'll wait until she gets home.

This fenced in area is about 16 x 32. There are no bags. No shade, and nothing of interest except for a light post. The worst thing is the fence needs repaired and the dogs could escape under it
