The place makes you wait a while. I've been late to work because of this place before. Also the ladies r very rude in the mornings. Dont know about afternoons. Got a nonsense ticket that I paid off ASAP just to stop going to this place.

I'm sorry to say that the municipal court clerk's office staff is really quite rude. Getting information from them is like pulling my own teeth. Impossible and painful! When dealing with the county vs the city, it's like night and day. The county seems to have a bit more experience in the dos and don'ts when it comes to customer interaction. It seems the city may be due a class on how to treat other people....taxpayers....in order to keep customer relations up to par. Yes, I got a ticket. Yes I was guilty by default, meaning very extenuating circumstances. But I never denied my fault and plan to pay the ticket. It was just a simple traffic fine but I felt like a criminal when speaking to the clerk's office. Not good. This incident was a week or 2 ago and I spoke with a lady but don't recall her name. I give you a 1 star....but... On a lighter note, I called municipal court clerk's office again today, 10-24-17 and this time spoke with Officer Child's. Had I spoken with him the 1st time, the review would not have included any of the above! He actually listened to me and offered suggestions to all of my questions. And he was very patient, not in a hurried or rude way. Quite the opposite. Thank you officer Childs for listening to me. That's all I really needed to start with. I'm giving you a 5 star and I'm giving the Officer who gave me the ticket a 5 star because he was very kind about it. He didn't have to be. And he was doing his job like he's paid to do. So Officer Charles (Chuck) Hulon (Sorry but I can't make your last name out very well), thank you. It's all good, except you were blinding me with the sun bouncing off your head! :)
