HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I must caveat this review with the statement that the people who did my tax return were good to work with, but the review applies to HRB in general.
First, my tax return was filed under someone else's SSN, then they placed my tax return in THAT person's portal, and almost 2 months later I STILL have not seen MY return in MY portal. When I call the corporate office number about it now, they don't see ANYTHING for me, as if I never filed with H&R. They gave me a case number & no one has ever called me about it (except the Moody office once, which did follow up with me but couldn't do anything to really help).
To top it all off, they told me my money would be withdrawn by the IRS on 18 April, then changed it to 25 April without ever telling me 1) I have to set up payment with the IRS; the IRS DOES NOT take the money from my account, & 2) there's a late fee and interest because the payment wasn't made by 18 April (which is only bc I was told the IRS would take the money from my bank account, which was BAD INFORMATION)! I had the money ready to be paid, sitting in my damn checking account for nearly 2 months!!!!
WORST TAX FILING EXPERIENCE EVER!!
