    I bought all my camera equipment from Pro Camera Hawaii . A Nikon Z8 and 5 lenses to go with that . The staff was helpful very , knowledgeable and cordial. I also experienced equipment rental from this store! Top notch, I was pleased with Cannon D6 and the lenses! Performance was amazing. Tony is being great at communicating with about special orders ! The store was easy to find . I never have problems with parking. As a costumer I feel so grateful to have a local camera shop like Pro camera Hawaii in the island and specifically that is Local owned. You can definitely feel the Aloha.     First time customer here, just wanna say i normally take many factors into account including customer service however Not the best customer service, Took multiple days just to get an estimate on a repair and even then they dont know about my canon 80D being eligible for repair by canon when on the website it explicitly states that they offer services and i got an estimate for the repair in minutes which brings me to another thing, the repair would cost me 400-500 for me to bring my camera in to their store when i could just send it to canon myself for $359 which i am now doing, even if i have to pay a little less to ship it myself directly to canon. Anyways not even the worst part because they couldn't even answer the rest of my questions about bringing my camera in to their shop, which if I am being honest, if they answered i would've been more enticed to bring my camera there anyways so im just gonna say save yourself some time dont rely on asking anything via email unless you're going in person which im sure the experience is different because then its guaranteed you will have came with money instead of questions. Edit: I am well aware what a family run business is however that doesnt excuse poor explanation and even poorer customer service and response time. Being a family owned business means making every customer experience easy to navigate and welcoming. NOT confusing and tideous. Absolutely ridiculous that a family owned business is not taking any sort of critique that could improve the companies customer service. Thats what this review is here for. Im not your high school bully wanting to pick on you for no reason. I am a dissatisfied customer providing insight to your absolutely underwhelming answers and customer service/experience. zero stars if i could. anyways best of luck in the future with the family owned business. Man, sometimes people just baffle me. It feels pretty unfair. I guess some folks just enjoy picking on small businesses, especially the family-run ones.So, we're not a repair shop, we are a drop off repair hub. We offer this to our customers as a service because some folks stress about sending it off. When we send out cameras, sometimes Canon sends us a a flat fee estimate or the give a parts/labor estimate depending on the severity of the repair. We do not know anything until we get back the estimate. Error 20 generally means mechanical issues, likely a shutter repair. His quote from Canon was $349 plus a couple of days for shipping is not far off from what we figured, around $400-500. It was a guess, not a quote from us. We genuinely did our best to answer his query. He was questioning why parts cost vs. labor costs so much, that's all on Canon, not us. Again, we are not the repair station, nearly a drop off hub. That's why we suggested giving Canon a buzz for a breakdown. They would be able to give you the detailed report. Sometimes with cameras like the 80D, which are kinda on the edge of being outside the repair cycle, companies like Canon will take them out of repair cycle. .Anyway, best of luck to in the future X.
