Quick in and out service. Contrary to other reviews, we are military and they were extremely helpful and polite to us. We were third back in line took them roughly 5 minutes to see us, had no issues picking up our custom plates and getting the registration changed. We didnt have to bring in the old plates either they just told us to bend them before discarding when we switched it out. Super quick, in and out in probably 10 minutes or so. Plan to use this location again the next time we do custom plates :)

1 star because the lady at the front is rude as hell and needs to learn how to talk to people. Everyone else was great.

There are no words to describe how bad the customer service is. Representative at the window was beyond rude as soon as she saw I was military. Recommend not using this location if you are a service member

I'm very frustrated and disappointed of the service. I'm out of state registration. The first time I did I was told by DMV don't to sign until in front of DMV Officer. Now they came up that the form needs to be signed before turning in by a instructions respectfully nobody knows until you invested your work permit come here find out the hard way, and not just that they just void it in front of my face maybe because is easier stamping that taking extra minute and use their officer authority to check my credentials and validate I'm the person signing it. That took the clerk 30 seconds so idk if she gets some satisfaction rejecting people expeditiously instead of working along them to support. So now I have to run again the whole process in my sheet in my command to come back make this lady happy expecting they don't make a new random instructions. I honestly feel this kind of regulation and behavior doesn't support the aloha spirit of Hawaii, people out of state don't have familiarity with their local regulations and they are not even properly posted on the website so is no way you find out earlier, nobody in my command aware they suppose to sign now in front of DMV now and I think is very inconsiderate with military members knowing is hard get time off work to take care of personal matters like this. I really would like if this regulation can be reviewed and make it more efficient not just for DMV but their customers because at the end we customers, and as I said, whatever in their form I think is something that the officer aht the DMV in their line of duty could avoid and actually helping me out instead of just grabbing my form and Stamp it VOID to get me out of her work list. Thank you.
