The church is affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), but everyone is welcome to attend with no pressure for membership. As for services: there is a 815 traditional (hymnal with organ) service and 1045 contemporary (modern Christian music) service. Additionally an adult Bible study and children's Sunday school happens at 940 for about an 55 minutes; you don't have to be a member or attend a service to participate in these functions. During lent and advent there are typically mid week services you can attend during those seasons as well. If you're nervous about what to expect there are plenty of helpful people who can assist you, but a few key things are: 1. Communion 1st and 3rd Sundays (traditional) and 2nd and 4th Sundays (contemporary) 2. Communion is for those that believe that Jesus is bodily present in with and under the bread and wine 3. Communion has a community cup you can drink from, dip your wafer in, or have an individual cup. 4. If you don't hold to the Lutheran belief on Communion you may come up and cross your arms (for those new) and receive a blessing or stay seated. 5. There is no judgment from anyone on how you decide to, or not to, participate in Communion. 6. Both services tend to last about 50 minutes without Communion and 60 minutes with Communion (actual Communion lasting 3-5 minutes). 7. There is no passing for collections. If you feel the desire to donate/tithe there are different offerings when you come in / leave where you can do so. 8. There are slides and handouts for everything so that you can follow along. 9. At the end ushers dismiss by rows, but if you have to leave early or feel uncomfortable feel free to depart as needed.

Our Savior is a waypoint in our families journey of faith. Even though its been years since we worshipped in the physical church, Pastor Mitch and DCE Kayla continue to serve the congregation and online guests as Ohana family, but more importantly, the community of faith. A person only needs to drop in on one of the most recent online sermons or contact the church directly for any reason, and you will immediately feel welcome and comforted. In these unprecedented times of uncertainty and change, it takes leaders of our faith to guide and direct people to the cross so this same cross can provide a place of rest and security that only Jesus can and will always give. As a military wife, with a husband serving on yet another Navy submarine, when my children were very young, I was provided a place to rest and remain reassured that as the waves of life would toss me, my family, and my faith to and fro, that the church as a lighthouse, was right there in front of me as I was there onsite or at another duty station. Now retired, we may not be able to worship in the physical location of the church anywhere in the United States of America, for such a a time as thisbut it is in these online moments we are reminded that our community is strong and present no matter where we are today. We are the community of faith in any time zone, we are all connected. Be the church! Gods Will and Gods Grace is sufficient, He will continue to guide and direct our paths even if the course we are navigating is challenging our sense of direction. Reach out to Our Savior, the church in Hawaii and Jesus both are waiting for you.
