I had chosen ``no room reservation'' on the package tour, so I had no expectations for the view or floor plan, but I was surprised to find that I was on the second floor (actually the lowest floor). Even though it said "Japanese staff available", I never met any Japanese staff and had no choice but to speak in broken English with the person at the front desk who had no smile at all. Although breakfast was included, it was very crowded and not only was it difficult to find a seat, but the staff did not clean up in time, leaving tables covered in spilled food and bird droppings. The menu is almost the same every time, and there isn't much variety. There were not many types of drinks at the evening reception by the pool, and an old man with no smile was making cocktails while glaring at us. The elevators are old and you have to hold your room card key over a sensor to go anywhere other than the lobby floor, but the sensor is not very sensitive and there are no explanations, so even tourists from the United States don't like it. She couldn't get to the floor she wanted to go to and ended up asking me for help (I don't know either). Moreover, since I was directly above the lobby floor, there were many times when the elevator door would close while I was holding my room key over the sensor, which did not respond well, and I would pass through the second floor and go to the upper floor. . On the second floor where I stayed, the store in front of the store was playing loud music starting at 7am, and I was bothered by the horns of cars passing by, so I couldn't relax at all. The only amenities were shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer, and there wasn't even body soap or a hairbrush. Of course, there are no shower toilets except for the top rooms. The only good things about it were that the location was pretty good, you could easily go anywhere in Waikiki, and the living room and bedroom were separated.

This resort is very nice, although some rooms like ours didn't have a ocean view. However the staff are very nice, the rooms are updated, large, and clean. The location is convenient and the rooms are sound-proof. The breakfast is great, it tastes good and has a wide variety. When you stay here, you get tickets that allow you to get a limited amount of drinks at the bar on the 4th floor. There are also virgin drinks. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend coming here for a Hawaii getaway. Rooms: The rooms are clean, large, and updated. The beds are comfy. There is a desk. There are 2 queen beds and 1 couch bed. Food & drinks: There are free drinks when you check in even though you get a limited amount of tickets.

There were almost no Koreans here. Breakfast is free, and cocktails and light snacks are free in the evening. The pool water was clean and the staff were all friendly. The Korean female staff member who made the breakfast omelette was very kind. I asked about various things while she was busy and she was very helpful. The room was very spacious (two rooms and a living room). Waikiki Beach was within walking distance, and there was a commercial area in front of the hotel, so there was a lot to see and it wasn't boring. There was also a microwave, so it was nice to simply heat up food. I plan to visit again!

Location is excellent but the quality of this hotel isn't what it used to be - - March 2024 was our fourth visit here but first since Feb 2020. Furniture in 2-bedroom suites has been updated, which is nice. But the hotel and its amenities are feeling run down. Breakfast is lackluster. The "free" evening reception offers entertainment but simply terrible food and drinks, especially given how much you actually pay for these things by way of room costs and "resort fees." Front desk and bell service is good but the rooms and hallways are not kept as clean as a hotel of this price should strive for. There is also a musty smell in hallways, elevators, and even some rooms - - we had to request a change in room because the smell in our assigned room was unbearable. So, especially for families with older kids, this hotel isn't good value for the money.
