Ronald, I'm sorry for your bad experience, truly there is an issue with bad communication. As a new client, You contacted me very late in the tax season on Mar 29, one the busiest and most hectic time of tax season. By law and IRS requirements, I must see 2 forms of ID and SS. On Mar 29, you posted online to my tax portal one ID, no SS and a password protected pdf of a past tax return without a password for me to open it and look at its contents. On April 3rd (4 days later), you said you were leaving overseas for duty (thank you for your service) and that you were away without a phone and could not communicate with me with a tax deadline of April 18 approaching, and for military active duty members (You, Ronald) have a June 15th tax deadline (an extra automatic 2 months, to prepare and file your return). Today May 6th, I hear from you (text msg) (last contact was April 3rd) and you asked my if I was successful in filing your tax extension? I said, I'm sorry. I don't believe so. Missing is you SS Number and "CLEAR" instructions to file an extension (not needed for active duty military member, you have additional automatic extension of 2 months to file due June 15, that's another 40 days from today). Ronald, I can't work without proper tax docs and ID information from clients, especially the new ones. You posted one ID and one non-openable pdf that is password protected and without your SS number, there is no way to file the extension you think you clearly asked for, you did not and most of all is NOT required by law, you have 40 more days left to file. As you see from all my other reviews and yours that this is clearly a misalignment of no communication and misinformation.
