Our second time fishing with Cyrus and we had a wonderful time. His first mate, Nick, was so helpful and knowledgeable of not only the fishing, but was able to give us some Hawaiian history too. The boat is so well kept and clean. Very comfortable to enjoy even when the temp was a little warmer. We will be back to fish with the Kraken!

I recently booked a trip with Cyrus on the Kraken and I would absolutely recommend a trip. Cyrus and Nick did a tremendous job on a very large and difficult fish. (623.5 pounds). The boat is simply gorgeous, comfortable and very enjoyable to be on. The tackle was excellent and well maintained. The work done by Cyrus and Nick to bring the fish to the boat was excellent and skilled. I especially appreciated the thorough emphasis on safety by the crew as they made sure we knew what to do once the fish was on and boatside, as well as the coaching on what NOT to do during the fight. It was the trip of a lifetime and one of the most enjoyable charter experiences I have ever had.

Once you fish with Kracken, you will will be hooked on them for life. Ive been fishing on Kona side for 6 years now and Kracken Charters has been the best experience by far. Captain Cyrus and Nick are extremely knowledgeable and will use multiple tactics to put you on the fish. The Kracken is extremely clean and very well maintained. Thank you guys for the BEST charter we have ever had. We are already planning our next trip with Kracken. Thanks Joe !!

After hearing about Kraken from a recommendation on the Island, I instantly booked a charter in hopes of catching my dream trophy fish, and THEY DELIVERED! Cyrus and Nick were an incredible team and an absolutely amazing crew to work with. To start, the Cabo was incredible and pristine. Cyrus and Nick were on it instantly with their teamwork and passion to find fish, they were spotting non stop and it was clear they carry the experience needed. Nick is a unique individual that has the mana and positive energy where good vibes are always flowing. Cyrus is always dialed in doing everything to scope out fish and making you very comfortable that you are with the right team. Fast forward to when we got our Marlin on. Thats when you really saw them shine. The teamwork between the two was outstanding. Cyrus brings the professional experience when you have a fish on and knows exactly how to maneuver the boat. Meanwhile, Nick was the best coach and my champion keeping my energy high when I was completely burnt out reeling in this massive Marlin. Luck always plays a part of everything, but its the work and effort that you put in to achieve any luck, and they did exactly that. We landed a 400+lb Marlin and it was a memory I will never forget thanks to these two. I honestly cant say enough about this team and our experience. I will continue to use them every time I go back to Big Island in my hunt for the grander.
