I am a developer, and I hired Christian to provide me with planning services, and to help me obtain my subdivision approval. Christian Renz is very detailed oriented, and he provided me all the drawings and paperwork needed along the project. He also helped me talking to the right people, and follow up on any paperwork submitted to the county. His expertise helped getting the project up and running fast, and most importantly correctly. Difficult company to work with. They require a large percentage of the money up front. They did not complete the work and did not take into consideration the need to level the land for drainage. I had to report them to RICO and hire a lawyer to get some of the money back. In addition, he did not pay his subcontractor, so I had to pay him directly in the amount of $10,000. The whole thing cost me about $30,000. I have read the owner's response and stand by my statement. Pacific Aina Design did do my landscape design plan and his company attempted to do the work but only did a small amount while demanding more money. He may be good at growing plants but the plants that he attempted to give me had been dug up from another location and were in very bad shape. He brought the plants to my home weeks before the work would have been completed and thus thought it was my responsibility to water them. As it turns out the things, he told me that I could not do in his plan were easily done by another contractor i.e. I wanted the garden behind the garage on the first level, but he wanted to put it one the third level which would have been very difficult for me to work with because of the steep grade: he said with the landscape estimate of $125,000 he could not put a fence around the first level and insisted planning to put a large tree on one side of my home witch I was opposed to because I did not want to block the view my neighbor's had.
