Its a nice trail with water falling at the end if it into a serene pool. Great photo opportunity.

This hike took us 9 hours. We stopped a lot to take it all in. Its is absolutely gorgeous and treacherous. There are numerous water crossings on slippery rocks and very tight deeply muddy paths. If you have any balance issues, this hike is not for you. If you are not used to hiking just do the 2 miles each way to the beach. Going all the way? We advise: 1. Waterproof hiking boots with new gripping 2. Lots of protein snacks and extra water 3. Change of clothes (socks and shorts at least) in waterproof backpack 4. Rain jacket 5. Hiking stick!!! Lots are left at trail start. Cant imagine not having one. Parking: You must have a pass to park inside. Book a shuttle from the park and ride. Fees: $35 for shuttle Restrooms: Restroom at base of trail. Otherwise natures facilities for the 8 miles roundtrip. Public Transportation: Book a shuttle in.

Make sure you have a trail map to reference because the sign points to the trail prematurely and will lead you on an upriver journey more difficult and time-consuming than you most likely have time for

Incredible trekking, the most beautiful I have ever done. You must have an optimal level of fitness and appropriate footwear since there are uneven areas with rocks and you also have to cross the river several times. There are no heights or steep slopes in case you suffer from vertigo. Bringing plenty of water and food is enough. It took us 5 hours and 30 minutes to reach the waterfall itself. Highly recommended!!
