Part of the fun of owning a new house is Kapa'a is finding out you need to have your septic tank pumped out. Shane was very quick to reply to us and get the job done. We would highly recommend him.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SHANE SILVA!! Shane Silva is dishonest and doesn't install systems legally! He takes advantage of people and is not good to work with at all! If you notice, he also gave himself his only 5 star rating. Haha! I wish I could attach screen shots of emails and texts for proof, but he came to our new home and put eyes on the job and bid 15k for a new septic install. We weren't on island yet and a while after he started he called and said it was a bigger job than he thought and it would now be 30k. He had seen it in person and bid and now it's double the price somehow?? He had already began so we trusted him and paid. Then he emailed and said he needed to remove our mango tree for $25k. Say what?? Removing a tree that size is closer to 5k by calling around, and it did NOT need to be removed. He was going to charge us 25k, cut it into slabs, and sell those slabs for a ton of money because that wood is worth a lot! He was trying to rip us off. We paid for rock fill but it was obviously glass because we had glass spilled ALL OVER our yard! I complained and he sent a worker out to clean it up. He was surprised at how much there was and apologized saying it shouldn't be like that. It took him 2 days and at least 2 truck loads to get it out... How much glass (that should have been rock) actually made it under the new septic if that much was spilled? Not enough because it needs risers added now, which Shane Silva promised but still hasn't done nearly a year later. We called the county to check that everything was recorded properly and he had't done anything legally!! My husband messaged and called Shane numerous times and told him he needs to take care of that. Weeks later Shane called and had the guts to tell us we had to pay him a couple thousand more to sign the paperwork to make it legal. SAY WHAT? Luckily we were able to tell him who we spoke to from the county and what they said about him getting in big trouble for it. So he tucked tail and signed everything with no further communication with us. What a snake! Avoid him at all costs!
