        Past visit was needed to insert a new crown. Dr Lee and staff were excellent. Billing issues previously mentioned have be resolved in my favor and I continue to be impressed by the staff, hygienists and dentists. Super convenient location too.

        Gental Dental took me in right away at my appointment time. I had some questions about the cost of my procedures to be done and cost was more than expected, but as I asked more questions the final bill was more than half the original price due to added procedures that werent needed. All in all I am very happy with Gentle Dental and their staff. WT

        There couldnt be more true words than Gentle Dental. As far back as I can remember I have had anxiety with dental appointments. I have met the dental team that I call the dental dream team !!! Gentle - absolutely! No more anxiety when going for work when these two are doing the work and God is in the midst! Dr Downs and Janice her assistant are incredible. They work together as a well oiled machine, moving instinct and performing a beautiful job. The outcome of their work is fantastic. Thank you Janice and Dr Downs for eliminating my anxiety, for your compassion and for your amazing work. Well done !

      The Makakilo Gentle Dental is conveniently located on Makakilo Drive, next to Makakilo Baptist Church Preschool.We offer flexible appointment times for your convenience, including evenings and weekends, and accept most insurance plans. For those without dental insurance, we offer our Gentle Dental Smile Plan that provides low-cost preventive and diagnostic care, as well as discounts of 20 percent or more on most dental treatments. We also have flexible payment plans and financing available as needed.
