Hampton Inn & Suites Oahu/Kapolei

Clean room and hotel in line with other Hampton inns we have stayed at. Big issue we had was a sliding bathroom door which did not close fully and created some awkward moments when traveling with family. Very small window which was always fogged and could not see . Very difficult to control ac without turning it off completely. It is part of a mall parking and was a struggle to find parking. They should seek designated parking spaces for hotel guests. Breakfast was okay.

Very disappointed here - our room on top floor was very cold and after calling 2x for maintenance, the man finally came up and basically said that this room is always cold the way the hotel HVAC is set up. He couldn't answer why the hotel would even have this room available. Talked to front desk the next morning after melting our icicles with coffee and they said, "we are full tonight and tomorrow night, sorry we can't move you." Shows what Diamond status means... nothing! We left and headed for a hotel on another part Oahu. By the way, if you do stay here and there is a youth sports tournament nearby, good luck. You would be best to call ahead, or prepare yourself.

The hotel was nice, clean and the employees were professional and kind. The continental breakfast was pretty good. They had waffles, cereal, oatmeal and different proteins. Coffee, juice and fruits. The only thing I have to say was that the room they gave us had a large sliding door for the bathroom and I kept jamming my finger on the door handle because of the way its built. And it was a handicapped accessible room so if it was elderly or handicapped person they could get real hurt. Also the bathroom didn't have any ventilation for the bathroom so I notice a little mold forming on the ceiling and wall outside the bathroom. Otherwise it was a great stay!
