This is a place you go and splurge and everything is well done and amazing...keep in mind this is a place for families and a lot of small children, so that is that. You will have a lot of crying kids and tired, sleepy kids at the luau, but it is a must to try for a vacation when you have younger kids. The one thing that absolutely stinks is the chair situation.... people go down at 8am and block all the chairs so when you go all the chairs have towels and you honestly can't find chairs. I suggest no one should be able to save chairs and have cubbies for when you are swimming.

Located about 20 minutes from the international airport. Depending on time, taxi fare can range from $70-$100. I was not all that impressed. It was fun and the kids all enjoyed it, but the value was not there. The good: nice view. Large pool area consisting of a lazy river, water playground, infinity pool, and adult pool. The resort leads to the beach that is safer for kids with minimum waves. You can rent stand up paddle boards at the beach. Must try the luau but make sure you book it ahead of time before your arrival. The bad: for the room price, you don't even get free bottle water everyday. All the activities get booked quick. Even the kids club can get full. It's not really relaxing of a resort if you're fighting to get things reserved. Disney theme is a little lacking throughout the resort. You'll see characters but the hotel design is more hawaii than disney. The service is inconsistent. You'll have some friendly people and then some are a little rough for Disney standards. For the price I wouldn't come again but worth it for one time.
