Awesome gallery exquisite pieces and the staff is incredibly warm and kind and you want to stay and explore for hours.

Me and my friend entered this art gallery in hopes of gaining information on local artists. Ive been to this art gallery before and the wonderful Brian showed us a few Oahu based pieces (as me and my friend are from there) in the middle of him showing us pieces and answering our never ending questions the owner interrupted and told him he wasnt paying him to talk to girls and mentioned how we wouldnt be able to afford the art. We were completely taken aback and left right away. After coping we returned and let the owner know because of his actions we would not return, we made sure to highlight Brian and the atmosphere he gave the gallery but let the owner know he ruined it , the owner showed no remorse. Im unsure if he assumed we could not afford the art because we were young or because we were not white but after going into a different art gallery my friend and i were very welcomed. BEWARE THIS ART GALLERY IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE OR NOT PLANNING TO SPEND 5K IN ONE NIGHT

0 stars. I came here looking for a gift for my wife for our 20th anniversary. Unfortunately the old man attending was very disrespectful. The old man started out very nice, offering to introduce me to the artist of some of the paintings I happened to be looking at. I thanked him and continued to walk around the gallery looking at the other paintings on display, as I was on the hunt for the perfect gift. When I walked away from him all niceties ended, and this old man proceeded to follow me through the whole gallery. He was just a couple of paces behind me the entire time I was there. He even appeared to ignore other customers just to follow me. It was very uncomfortable. Where is the customer service? I don't understand how you expect to sell art if your silently stalking potential clients through the whole gallery. There were some great artists displayed. If I had been left alone long enough to be able to appreciate the difference artists, I might have been able to find something for my wife. Please do better.
