Kōloa Rum Company Store & Tasting Room

We did a rum tasting with Gloria and she was FANTASTIC. Made us want all the rum. We highly recommend the tasting (and it's complimentary!). Also bought plenty in the gift store where the employees were helpful and friendly.

Great rum and staff! We showed up a little late to our 10am rum tasting and were thankful that they still took us in. Quick little 25 min tasting, 4-5 samples, definitely worth it. We picked up the chocolate rum, best Ive tasted. Its got a dark chocolate taste instead of the typically ultra sweet chocolate rum.

We're here on Kauai for a few weeks and I thought I'd buy the Mai Tai cocktail as I couldn't justify purchasing 3 bottles of rum and the other ingredients. I've had Mai Tai's made at numerous establishments on 4 of the Hawaiian Islands, and make my own. And, I would have to say that your Mai Tai cocktail is the WORST I've ever had, and I have had some bad Mai Tai's in my time. I would suggest that the company needs to change their recipe!!!

Great experience with the rum tasting. After the rum tasting, my wife and I had an even better experience in the store. We bought nearly everything. Whether you're a casual rum drinker or a rum connoisseur, you'll have a great time. Enjoy friends, I know I did (responsibly, of course).

Probably the best rum you can find anywhere - islands or mainland. The coconut flavored rum is excellent and you cant beat the coffee flavored rum liquor. They give free rum tastings until 4 PM.
