Once every few years in Boise. Great event for aviation and Air Force enthusiast! Static display as well as aerobatic performance.

The deafening noise not only disrupts daily life, but it terrifies my pets. Completely inconsiderate and irresponsible.

Two stars because the actual aerial stuff is cool. The good: Planes! Jets! Parachutes! And the guardsmen and women were of course wonderful any time we came across them. The shuttle system was pretty good, too, especially since there is no entrance fee. The bad: If you're going to say that water bottles have to come empty and no food is allowed, you MUST be prepared to supply people with water stations and reasonably available food. Standing in line for over an hour for overpriced food is not reasonable. We didn't see a single water station. That's a possible hazard in August. The ugly: A vendor selling merch for a very partisan candidate. This should be a completely nonpartisan event. Come on.
