Acceptance Counseling

I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to get in with Acceptance Counseling. Seeing Nic regularly provided some much needed emotional support for me. Our sessions helped me tremendously in getting through an incredibly challenging and most unusual year. Highly recommend for anyone in need of someone easy to talk to. Nic made the therapeutic process feel more like catching up with, and confiding in, a close friend. I’m so grateful for how smooth and easy it’s been to work with these guys!

Highly Recommend! Acceptance/Kenton helps me take the steps I need to take, remember my potential and inner strength, and guides me when I feel stuck. He helps me focus where I want to focus and realize where and why I got stuck -without taking over, I control the direction. I used to be a skeptic regarding counseling in general; now I think an unbiased, experienced perspective not only can't hurt a person - it can positively change your life with an open mindset.

After years of therapists who weren’t the right fit, I found the place where I could be safe, held accountable, and meaningfully supported. I have been working with Kenny for several years, and feel I’ve grown in my communication skills, self awareness and compassion, and coping mechanisms as a result - my life has been shaped for the better. The office space is quiet, clean, and comfortable, with considerate hygiene supplies and snacks for those who might need them. The office works well with insurance, communication/response time is prompt and the staff are discreet and friendly. Even if it’s not a match, they will put you in touch with someone who can assist you. If you are in need of counseling or mental health resources - please reach out. There are people who care and are able to assist you.

I have tried several other counseling services in the past, all unsuccessful, then I found Acceptance Counseling! I have been attending sessions for a while and I couldn't be happier with the help I'm receiving. Every member of the team is dedicated and professional. They always respond quickly to any requests and work hard to accommodate my scheduling needs. I highly recommend this counseling service!
