We are so glad we went with Sarah as our real estate agent. As first-time homebuyers with a relatively small budget we knew it wouldn't be easy; we also wanted a fixer upper that we could work on and add more value as we remodeled it. Sarahs remodel experience was invaluable while looking at homes as she was able to steer us clear of some of the high-risk properties that just wouldnt have been worth it for our budget and give us more confidence in the homes we did put offers on. We tried to prepare ourselves initially for the frustration and the long road ahead in this market. There was a point when we were ready to call it quits on an offer and just go with it, but Sarah gave us a pep talk and kept our spirits up to counter and ultimately get a better deal than we wanted initially. Im thankful she has enough experience in real estate to know when you can persevere and get the deal that works for you. Sarah learned along with us to create an offer with a rate buy-down and a few other special terms that made the sale more complicated than others, but she was a gem and it never phased her. She has a great eye for opportunity and we would recommend her to anyone, especially if youre in the market for something more than the typical cookie-cutter subdivision home.
