Courtyard at Coeur d'Alene

My mom lived here just under a year. The care staff is very compassionate and friendly, but they are understaffed. The billing department was awful to work with. It took them almost 6 months to submit the simple paperwork required by our insurance. They never did apologize or admit their mistakes with our account, when I have documentation that they were in error. I believe integrity means, among other things, admitting when you mess up and figuring out why- then correcting the issues so no one else has to go through that. They dont do this. Big red flag. Maybe its corporate and their hands are tied- also a red flag. There are better, well rounded homes than this- we found one. Out of 10- I say cleanliness is a 7, meals are a 7, quality of nurses and care staff a 10- but there is not enough of them.

My mother moved in just a month after my father passed. The staff welcomed her and have cared for her so well for the past three years. She has a private room decorated in her own style but enjoys the community events almost daily. It is a wonderful, caring home.

Only giving 3 stars!! I work there for 5 years, I ran all night shift and I work many hours to help the place, work 7 days aweek many times. When some co workers was starting rumors and lies about the ED Janel , I was the one that stand up for her and put a stop to it!!! Then I put my two weeks in and told them Ill be back, going through emotional state with my husband, I finish a week and half but not full two weeks but I gave three day warning!! Then my co workers call me all the time saying how much they need me there , so I try to come back and ED that I stood up for and talk highly of, basically ghost me, ignore my calls and texts, even my co workers try to say something to her and nothing!! I was a great worker, never call off , always on time, can handle any situation there, and for the place to just ghost me act like everything I done for place was nothing All because she had to work Thanksgiving, its just sad!!! All the co workers review on here is because management ask them to do it!! Now Im at a better job that actually appreciate me and all my hard work!!! Just sad situation that this company or I should say ED Janel would do this to me!! Just show you all your energy and love you put in a place is pointless at times!! Best of luck to my co workers that saids they need me there, they also said Janel needs me rather she knows it or not!! I feel very sorry to them I did try to come back..

Beautiful courtyards, very friendly staff, and clean facility. The common areas are huge and beautiful and yet each person has their own room and bathroom as well!
